Inlanders - Stephen Reese

Hi there!

When I finished the first draft of my novel Inlanders, I started this blog to keep me distracted for four months. That was the length of time I’d vacation from the manuscript before editing it.

Here online, I ended up yapping about writing in general. I’ll probably keep on yapping as I edit Inlanders, and later track my progress when I try to sell the book.

The work log I kept while writing the first draft (a personal diary of sorts, recording my struggle with the whole mess while it was still mine) shall remain private. These current phases of drafting, querying and theoretical publication are all about sharing the work, so I’m making them public.

Inlanders is slowly changing ownership. It won’t be mine anymore. In a little while - if I manage to pull this off - it’s all yours.

For those interested (friends, family, fellow writers), the Inlanders site offers some transparency into my ongoing process.
